Founded in 2012, the Women Cyber Security Cell is a non-profit community, focused on empowering women to succeed in the cybersecurity industry with ensuring her security in cyberspace. WCSC’s mission is to advance women in cybersecurity careers by providing programs and partnerships that promote hands-on training, networking, education, mentoring, resource-sharing and other professional opportunities.

Cyber violence is becoming more widespread and damaging by the day. Very rarely is a day that passes off without an incident with involves cyber crimes. The most worrying part is that the victims predominantly are children and women. Cyber crime increases the gender inequality. Societal pressures do not allow women to even mention what they are undergoing. Women and girls are more likely than boys and men to be targets of 'remote sexual abuse' - coerced into doing things they wouldn't do on their own will and wish. Cyber security professionals who protect databases, software systems & computer networks from access, change or destruction, are predominantly male. We realized that hostile stereotypes and discrimination are limiting the numbers of female cyber security professionals WCSC is a NGO serves thousands of women and young girls across the globe by bringing awareness to, and advancing careers in, cybersecurity. WCSC is a community includes cyber/information security professionals, Legal professionals, IT professionals, programmers, Doctors and engineers, as well as women wanting to explore and join the field. Recognizing the importance of cybersecurity, cybersecurity education and awareness we at WCSC encourage every women to be safe and secured in cyberspace
